Goeden County Park – Newburg
This park is a popular spot for
canoeing and fishing on the
Milwaukee River. There is a
scenic nature trail that winds
its way along the river and through
a wetland. 5 acres. 1 reservable

Glacier Hills County Park – Hubertus
An excellent example of a glacier
moraine with rugged terrain, wooded
trails and picturesque views of Holy
Hill is Glacier Hills County Park.
There is 1200 feet of Friess Lake
frontage. The park is excellent for
bird watching. A large hall and chapel
may be reserved for groups. 140 acres.

Cedar Lake County Wayside - West Bend
Cedar Lake County Wayside is a five-acre
park that provides a wooded picnic area
for family enjoyment. Open April thru

Lizard Mound County Park - West Bend
A self-guided anthropological nature
trail winds around more than 20 well
preserved Effigy Mounds. Trail markers
reveal the vast history of the extinct
culture who built these unique features.
This intriguing site is listed on the
National Register of Historic Places.

The newest addition to the Washington
County Park System is Ackermann’s
Grove. This park provides a boat launch
