What Is the St. Jude Dream Home® Showplace?
The St. Jude Dream Home® Showplace is a special extension of the St. Jude Dream Home® Giveaway, one of the nation's largest fundraising efforts benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
After the home is completed and sold, the net proceeds are donated directly to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to help ensure families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food so they can focus on what matters most: helping their child heal.
This extraordinary effort is only possible through the generosity of local builders, trade partners, suppliers, sponsors, and volunteers who donate their time, materials, and expertise to make a lasting difference for children and their families.
A Meaningful Milestone: Our Floor Signing Event
One of the most memorable moments during construction was our floor signing event. Before the flooring was installed, Tim O'Brien Homes team members, trade partners, representatives from St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and the Metropolitan Builders Association gathered to leave their signatures beneath the finished floors.
The event served as a reminder that every person involved in building this home is helping create something much bigger than a house. Together, we're helping build hope for children and families facing childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
We were especially honored to hear from Colleen, a St. Jude patient family member, who courageously shared her family's story. Her words reminded everyone in attendance why this partnership is so meaningful and how every contribution makes a real impact.
We are incredibly grateful to the teams at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Metropolitan Builders Association for their partnership, leadership, and support throughout this project. We also want to extend our sincere appreciation to our dedicated trade partners, suppliers, and every member of the Tim O'Brien Homes team whose generosity, craftsmanship, and commitment are bringing this home to life.
