Tim O'Brien Homes 2019 Parade of Homes

Tim O’Brien Homes Milwaukee Division has been participating in the Parade of Homes since 2009 and our Madison Division since 2013. Each parade has been a great opportunity for us to showcase our award-winning floor plans, green building techniques, and of course the unique personal touches that can be added to our homes to truly make it yours.

2019 MBA Parade of Homes

The Metropolitan Builders Association’s Parade of Homes has officially kicked off. Tim O’Brien Homes is debuting its brand new custom product line, the Emerald Collection, with its Havenwood Model located in Aero Park. The Emerald Collection was developed to cater to those who seek more personalization and a more substantial home.

The Havenwood has a towering 2-story foyer that opens to the second floor immediately creating a warm, inviting space for all those who enter.

Making your way into the great room, dinette, and kitchen, you’ll notice the soaring ceilings and windows that bring in plenty of natural light. This entertaining area boasts a towering fireplace, ample gathering areas in the kitchen and dinette, and custom ceiling treatments throughout.

The rear foyer features a drop zone and a family command center that includes a washer and a dryer, lockers, a desk to help with organization, and a laundry sink.

The spacious master suite is located on the first floor creating a quiet, separated space from other bedrooms in the home. This area features a large walk-in closet with an additional washer and dryer, an extensive master bathroom with a twin vanity with extra counter space, a free-standing bathtub, and a custom zero-entry shower with dual showerheads.

The second floor features a family room with a gaming entertainment center, perfect for a children’s gathering spot. It also includes three spacious bedrooms, with one being a suite with a walk-in closet and bathroom.

Making your way down to the lower level you will be delighted to find this is the perfect home for entertaining. A spacious recreation space and family room create an engaging environment. A large wet bar with a raised countertop is a great adult getaway area within the home. This space also includes a bedroom or potential exercise area as well as a walk-in closet and full bathroom.

2019 MABA Parade of Homes

Tim O'Brien showcase home in Madison

The Madison Area Builders Association hosted its parade of homes June 8th through the 23rd. Our featured model was the Sage located in Banbury Heights of Windsor Crossing. The Sage is a newly developed plan that has been well received since its debut to the Tim O’Brien homes portfolio in 2018.

As you enter, you’re immediately greeted by an expansive and welcoming foyer with a powder room and useful coat closet. To the right, you’ll find the flex room with a box tray ceiling beautifully emphasized by two bisecting wood beams. Also at the front of the home is the first of four bedrooms, highlighted by a large walk-in closet and a window bump-out with a built-in bench. Adjacent to the full bathroom in the hall is the second bedroom with a walk-in closet.

Secluded in the back corner of the home sits the luxurious homeowner’s suite. You’ll immediately notice the three prominent windows framing the bed and the spacious walk-in closet offering more than enough storage. Natural light continues to shine through from the bathroom, which features a linen closet, double vanity, private toilet room and tiled shower with a transom window.

The other side of the home incorporates soaring cathedral ceilings throughout the vast open-concept living and dining spaces. A grand fireplace with cultured stone detail warms the great room and acts as an inviting focal point. An oversize island, gourmet appliances and quartz countertops accentuate the gourmet kitchen as the heart of the home. The flow continues to the light-filled dinette, which leads out to an immense composite deck overlooking the backyard.

A rear foyer with a walk-in pantry, laundry room and convenient drop zone funnel out to a functional three-car garage with built-in laminate shelving for organizational storage. Finally, the finished lower level includes a kitchenette, recreation room and fourth bedroom complete with a full bathroom. The walk-out rear exposure provides access to the substantial concrete patio below the deck.
